Unlike tiles, Concrete Paver Blocks are stabilized with sand instead of grout. The sand is spread and compacted between joints, allowing flexibility while maintaining strength. This flexibility helps the pavers resist cracking due to ground shifts, minor earthquakes, freezing, and erosion.
Installation requires tools like a vibrating plate compactor to set the pavers and a shear cutter for precise edge fitting. Sand stays in place even during rain, and sealants can be used for added lock-in.
